The improvements in the content of the Irrigation Atlas were made possible by a broad network of partnerships, including the Ministry of Regional Development (MDR), the National Supply Company, the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, Agrosatélite Geotecnologia Aplicada, the Federal University of Paraná and the University of São Paulo. The sectoral articulation, with the ANA's greater proximity to sectoral policy and participation in forums and events - such as basin committees and technical chambers on irrigation at the MDR and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) - allowed the improvement of the content and the way in which the results of the Atlas are presented in this second edition.
